First time for everyone
The weather is just out of control. In the past few days we have seen everything from sun to snow, with rain and hail in between. Pile that on the fact most of the rivers in the northwest need some water. You could say things have been tough.
This week I fished with Jim Ansite from California, he was a great sport to have out on the river. His energy was high as was his interest in learning anything and everything about the Sandy river and Steelhead fishing. Due to both our hard efforts we found fish each day.We did not rush down the river instead we chose our water carefully and fished it well, sometimes twice.
