Redfish Fly Fishing Trip, Texas

October 15-20, 2017

Redfish — what a blast! Redfish are one of the best flats fish to chase on a fly, for the simple fact every fish you see wants to eat, and they gorge themselves. They are very aggressive predatory fish that lend themselves well to being pursued on fly tackle.

The Texas flats are extensive and vary in bottom type from flat clean sand to many types of grasses, with depths that range from mere inches to at most 3 feet. There are many shots at fish, so this is a great fly fishing trip for both the beginning salt water angler and the experienced salt water angler. The multitude of wild life this area has to offer is an added bonus to the trip.

This salt water fly fishing trip is very cost effective and includes two meals a day, housing and the guides, which makes staying home and fishing domestically a wonderful option. Many good restaurants and bars are close at hand and group dinners are the evening fair.
