Well I want to get the feelers out for next fall/winter for 3 others that might want to go to Texas and do some Red fishing. I was thinking some time between mid October and mid December. The cost will include everything but dinners, airfare, and alcohol. that means breakfast, lunch, transportation, 4 guided days fishing, and housing.
The Redfish on the Texas coast are not the largest ones you can chase. However they average 20-28 inches and are prolific, 20 to 50 shots a day. Much will depend on casting ability. Now on that note don’t be scared off. The casting has less to do with distance that with speed and fly placement. Most shots are from 25-45 feet but fly must land in about a 2.5 foot area.
If anyone out there is interested shoot me an email and we can get the ball rolling.
